Subhash is an LLB and an MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute. Having joined Datamatics after his MBA in 1973, Subhash has been at the helm since 1980. He led board-level searches in India at a time when the term ‘Search’ was still unknown here. Our open-door work culture and excellent relationship management with clients and candidates are a result of Subhash’s vision and efforts. Chandrakiran Tambe, CEO
Mr. Chandrakiran Tambe has been with the Recruitment Services industry for the past 7+ years having spent the recent 5 years leading the search business of Futurestep (a Korn/Ferry Co) across various sectors, and prior 2 years as a Client Partner with the Technology Sector of Korn/Ferry International based in Mumbai. Mr. Tambe had the opportunity to service a wide section of Indian Corporates, MNCs and a number of start-up ventures for their critical hiring needs at mid to senior levels.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry International in 2005, Mr. Tambe garnered a rich experience from a 20+ years career spanning the Office Communications / Telecom, Industrial Automation and IT sectors, in which he has built and managed cross-cultural teams and successfully launched new products for Benchmark Group, Datacraft India, Tata Telecom and Philips Electronics. Mr. Tambe holds a B.E. (E&T) from M.S. University of Baroda (1982) and an MBA (1984) from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.

Sumitra Char, Head, Telecom Practice and Recruitments for Africa
Sumitra has a Masters in English Literature, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising and Management. She has had a teaching stint with the VJTI, Mumbai, and over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing and general management in the publishing industry, having worked with Macmillan, India. She has been with DSSPL from 1997.
