This position is for a Program Management Officer specifically for the Global Delivery Center (GDC) and APJ regional PS group. This role is critical to the success of the PMO and the GDC as the PM Officers represent the GDC and has have both the responsibility and authority, to define and implement the PS delivery methodology (“FIRUP”) within the GDC. The role definition and key activities include: Responsibilities 1. Be a full-time member of the Global PMO team and participate in all activities and tasks of that team. Work as a key member of the Global PMO team to define and enforce PMO processes. 2. Implement and institutionalize FIRUP as a standard delivery methodology for FICO PS within the GDC and APJ region. 3. Conduct frequent meetings to keep represented practice leaders informed of PMO initiatives and facilitate their feedback and approvals to the PMO. 4. Lead assigned PMO initiatives as assigned by gathering and developing content and templates for new or changing FIRUP processes. 5. Help in defining and enforcing processes and methodologies that are unique to the Global Delivery Center (GDC) and APJ. 6. Lead the effort to develop KPIs metrics for the GDC. 7. Serve as leader and advocate for PM best practices, and facilitate continuous PM process improvement for the benefit of the business unit. 8. Monitor and enforce compliance to FIRUP processes and policies in the GDC and APJ. 9. Facilitate imperiled project reviews for their business unit (not including assuming responsibility for the project or path forward). 10. Provide leadership to the project managers (including acting project managers) within their business unit/ 11. Provide collaboration between the PMO and their business unit based initiatives to leverage each others’ work and avoid duplication of effort. 12. Conduct periodic project evaluations providing written feedback to project managers and business unit managers discussing strengths and improvement opportunities. 13. Work with business unit managers to identify common issues, conduct root cause analysis, define corrective actions, and track corrective actions to closure. 14. Establish and manage a forum with business unit members to celebrate exemplary projects and discuss lessons learned. 15. Perform as the primary support contact for the PS Sharepoint based SOW Approval site by resolving user issues and implementing changes as needed for defect resolution and enhancements. Additionally, serve as the site’s subject-matter-expert for all PS business units. 16. Perform as the primary maintainer of the statement-of-work templates, including macros and other Word features utilized. 17. Additional responsibilities as may be defined by the leaders of the GDC and PMO. Accountability The PM Officer is accountable primarily to their business unit leader for successful implementation and support of the PMO processes. Dotted line accountability is to the Director of the PMO for the day-to-day PMO activities. The PM Officer role and its responsibilities represent the primary aspect of the PM Officer’s performance goals. This role will include primary responsibility for successful implementation of methodology and processes adopted by the PMO board for global PS with focus on FIRUP implementation. |
