Datamatics Staffing Services Ltd. (DSSL) has recruited a Senior Director Business Development for a leading Solar Company having its presence across the world with its specialization in distribution of solar products and solutions.

Our client had given us the mandate to identify a Leader to help them lead the business development function across India and some of its neighboring countries as well. This person would be based at Delhi and reporting to Global business development head.

The client was looking for a professional with strong understanding of Solar products / services alongwith local PV markets knowledge. B2B sales experience and good connects across Financial institutions was critical to the role.

DSSL researched a broad spectrum of candidates across leading solar product Companies in India as well as companies who had solar products distribution network in India. DSSL zeroed in on a highly qualified professional working as Head Solar Business with a company that owns over 675 MW of operating/under execution assets in Solar domain and is all set to become 1 GW Solar Company in India. It was a long but interesting cycle of 9 months, end to end, from search to joining.
